Services and Fees

An Xactimate Roofing Estimate may encompass all elements related to both the roof and any additional structures, excluding the siding. Interior items, yard, fence, pool, and contents are considered additional items. The first 12 additional line items are included at no extra charge.

If you require more, you can add either 30 additional line items or up to a maximum of 60 additional line items for a flat rate. Anything above 72 line items is considered a major loss estimate (1% of the total estimate).

Your Xactimate siding estimate can be completed with or without the use of EagleView, Hover or other wall reports. This service is suitable for siding, paint, doors, wraps, attachments, and all other exterior elements, excluding roofs.

If you already have the necessary measurements and calculations, please enter the required information on our form. Ensure you specify any items you would like included in the estimate. Additionally, if you intend to use a value that is not provided in the report, such as for a partial replacement, it must be clearly indicated.

Smoke and Cleaning estimates are available for contractors requiring an Xactimate estimate. These estimates can also include the restoration of interior damage. Restoration typically involves multiple trades and complexities and generally qualifies for overhead and profit.

Smoke and cleaning charges are calculated at 3% of the total estimate, with a minimum fee of $100.

Any estimate under $3,500 is $100. For estimates over $3,500, our fee is 3% of the total.

Restoration can be included as a second separate estimate at no extra charge if ordered at the same time. This may help you avoid an additional minimum fee. If the combined total exceeds $3,500, the 3% fee still applies.

Flood loss and water damage estimates are generally divided into two separate claims. The first claim covers mitigation, which includes actions taken to prevent further damage. This drying stage is typically considered a single trade exercise, and overhead and profit are usually not included.

The second claim covers restoration, which involves multiple trades and complexities, and typically includes overhead and profit. Our form accommodates estimates for either or both claims.

Water Damage Estimates are 1% of the estimate total, with a minimum fee of $100 (collected prior to estimate, held as a deposit).

Any estimate under $10,000 is $100. For estimates over $10,000, our fee is 1% of the total.

Restoration can be included as a second separate estimate at no extra charge if ordered at the same time. This may help you avoid an additional minimum fee. If the combined total exceeds $10,000, the 1% fee still applies.

Hurricane estimates can be complex due to the involvement of multiple insurance companies. Flood damage mitigation and restoration below the waterline are typically covered by flood insurance, potentially from FEMA. However, damage above the waterline is considered a wind claim. Please keep this in mind when organizing your information.
