What to Submit

To ensure an accurate and comprehensive Xactimate estimate, please provide the following information:

• Submit our form (required)
• Adjuster-written Xactimate estimates
• Specialty bid items
• Photos
• Aerial roof report (EagleView)
• Floor plan drawings

PLEASE NOTE:

If you have an aerial estimate or calculations of your own, we can proceed with them. Remember that aerial estimates may lack details about roof materials, multiple layers of shingles, and vents, which need to be supplemented.

Upon receiving your estimate, contact us if any revisions are needed. Revisions are prioritized and typically completed on the same day for simple changes.

If you are facing a tight deadline, please contact us.

The report will look like it was prepared in-house. Our identification will not appear on your estimate unless requested otherwise. Your estimate will include:

• Your company information and logo (if provided)
• All specified items with recent pricing for the correct zip code

Typical delivery times:

• Roofs and siding: You will usually receive your estimate as a PDF attachment via email within 1-2 days, except Sundays and holidays. Larger estimates may take longer.
• All other estimates: You will typically receive your estimate as a PDF attachment via email within 1-3 days (depending on size), except Sundays and holidays. Larger estimates may take longer.
• If ordering an EagleView report: Expect an additional 1-3 day delay once we receive the report.

How can you possibly know the prices for our area? 

We use Xactimate, which is updated monthly for all zip codes in the United States and Canada. Your report will include the most recent pricelist for your zip code.

Can I request Overhead and Profit settings of a particular amount? 

Yes. Our reports can include 10% Overhead and 10% Profit upon request. Please indicate this on our forms.

Can we just send you an EagleView™ or some other aerial estimate? 

If you already have an aerial estimate or calculations, we will proceed. Note that aerial estimates may lack details about roof materials, multiple layers of shingles, and vents, which need to be supplemented.

Will the report look like we prepared it in-house, and can you include my company logo? 

Yes, the report will appear as though it was prepared in-house; our identification does not show on your estimate unless you prefer otherwise. Please email your company logo in any format, and we will include it at no extra cost. You only need to send your logo once, and we will save it for future reports. 

What if we need an item that isn’t on the form? 

Add information in the comments box or contact us via email or phone. Many more items are available beyond the ones listed on our form. Please communicate your needs, and we will include them.

Is Xactimate accepted by all insurance companies? 

While Xactimate is widely accepted and utilized by most insurance companies, interpretations and directives can vary among adjusters. Some adjustors have restrictions on certain items, though EagleView measurements and Xactimate pricing effectively demonstrate your professionalism and credibility.
